Adelaide home builder Scott Salisbury Homes has taken out a national prize at this year’s Master Builders Australia National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards.
The Flynn on Carrington Street won the National Contract Home award for projects valued between $750,000 and $1 million.
Through the use of stone, dark timber cladding and a range of other materials, the project maximises natural light throughout the contemporary two-level, three-bedroom, dual-terrace home.
Scott Salisbury Group Managing Director, Scott Salisbury said the project ‘pays homage to the traditional worker’s cottage with a modern warehouse feel’, and was proud of its achievement on a national level.
‘The national win is a great boost to all of us during a difficult year,’ he said.
‘It’s a testament to our staff, trades and suppliers for all their hard work and commitment in delivering building excellence and continuing to set the benchmark in design and innovation.
‘This is the seventh national award win for us. We’re 100 percent South Australian owned and operated, and we’re competing on the national stage and winning.
‘This is something I’m extremely proud of.’
The awards were announced via livestream on Saturday night. Scott Salisbury Homes was the only South Australian builder to win.
